The Texas Tech Men’s Basketball team is putting on a fundraiser dinner, Monday Nov. 4that noon, for the public to have a chance to purchase seats that include a meal and the chance to chat with the players, coaches, and other staff. This luncheon is taking place at the Overton Hotel and Convention Center and for ticket information you can go to rrc.events@ttu.eduor call (806)742-1196. Tables are being sold for fans to sit with members of the staff, and there are also reserved tables of 10 being sold for $750. Red Raider Club tickets are selling for $45 each and Individual Non-Red Raider Club tickets will be $65. Head coach Chris Beard loves the idea of letting the fans interact with the team “Our fans arethe best in the country and we like giving back to them, this is just a small way we try and do that.” The players are also looking forward to the luncheon says Junior guard Davide Moretti, “We appreciate the love and support at every game during the season home or away. Our fans are just as important to the program as any one of us.”The luncheon is the day before the home opener for the 2019-2020 season against Eastern Illinois, at 7pm at the United Supermarkets Arena.
